Jonathan Owens has not been present in Dickies Arena tonight while his wife Simone Biles has taken up the gymnastics mat to confirm her US Olympic trial qualification. In showcasing her extraordinary gymnastics skill, Simone Biles notched up 14. 800 on the balance beam, whereas her stunning Yurchenko Double Pike gave her a scintillating 15.800 on the vault routine. Jonathan Owens could not miss praising such a marvel. 

On his X-handle the NFL Safety has put a five-word message to celebrate the joyride Simone Biles has presented so far on the mat. Simone’s staggering 50.650 all-around score brought the unfiltered emotion out of Owens as he wrote, “My wife is the SH*T [fire emoji]”. The same emotion was visible in the stands a few nights ago in the XL Center when JO had taken no break in cheering his wife through his clappings. Meanwhile, Simone’s score of 60.450 remained far away from anyone’s reach in the all-around event tonight in the Xfinity US Gymnastics Championships in Dickies Arena. 

But according to the update from Jonathan Owens, he tried his best to reach Dickies Arena to witness Simone Biles posting one of the highest scores ever in the Olympic quad. He braved the ongoing turbulent weather in Texas to reach the venue even though weather reports have shown chances of further degradation in the coming hours. For this hearty exchange of emotions, JO had to take a break from his training schedule and rush for Texas to take a stand for Mrs. Owens.  

A few weeks ago, he had followed the same drill to stay beside Simone Biles in her season-opening competition in Hartford. Later, the elated wife acknowledged that presence in her love-filled words. 

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens continue to travel in the avenues of mutual support 

Last year, Jonathan Owens couldn’t attend the ultimate Simone Biles show at the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. The contest witnessed Simone’s rust-free gymnastics core despite the 2-year gap the gymnast had taken because of her mental state. But this year, when the Olympic all-around champion decided to make a season debut in the Core Hydration Classic, JO didn’t want to extend his absence spree into Simone’s events. Ultimately, in Hartford, he appeared with Simone Biles’ mom to relish the magic. The gymnast’s jaw-dropping vault routine filled him as Jonathan showcased a standing ovation to respect the gymnast Simone Biles. 

Later, on IG, the NFL safety continued to sing the paean by penning, “I love being able to watch you go out there and do your thing. I’m here with you every step of the way, wouldn’t miss it for the world”. However, Simone Biles hadn’t missed her husband’s presence in the stands among the known faces. 

So acknowledging JO’s relentless support from the stands, Simone garlanded him with thankful notes. She further added, “I think this one is huge,” as it was one of those events when Jonathan Owens experienced the electrifying flavor of the gymnastics meet. Now, Owens seems to be in the mood to further that experience of watching Simone living up to her GAOT status.
