25-Year-Old Simone Biles Blames Friends for Making Her Feel Old

There is no escaping growing old, and sometimes it can be tough. It seems GOAT gymnast Simone Biles, too, has caught herself into the loop of adulting. Though Simone is only 25 years old, she is too mature for her age. Not just is she getting ready to walk down the aisle, but she is also getting accustomed to the changing dynamics and emotions.

Earlier today, Simone took to her official Twitter to share her views on friends and aging. Though the tweet is in good humor, Simone has perhaps realized that the people surrounding her are busy as well.

Realization hits Simone Biles 

The mid-twenties is a crucial time in everyone’s life. While some settle down and concentrate on family, others get busy with their professional life. While some accept it readily, others might take some of it.

For Simone, perhaps the realization has now come. Expressing herself, she wrote on Twitter, “at the age where all my friends answer their phone in 5-7 business days.” The Olympic gold medalist has now realized that she is finally getting old.

Since Simone announced that she would stay away from professional gymnastics for some time, she’s been devoting her time to family and friends. Simone revealed that she had withdrawn her name from the finals during the Tokyo Olympics. The news shocked her fans. The decision came on the pretext of her prioritizing her mental well-being.

As of now, Simone is busy preparing for her wedding. For the unversed, Simone got engaged to an NFL star player, Jonathan Owens, in February this year. After dating for two years, the pair decided to take their relationship a step further.

Ever since their engagement was announced, the countdown to their wedding began. Though the official dates for the big day remain undisclosed, it is expected that the two would tie the knot before next year’s NFL season. Before dating Jonathan, Simone used to date former gymnast Stacy Ervin Junior.

After several years of dating, the two decided to call it quits. As destiny had planned, Simone eventually found her love in Owens. The two are now preparing for their special day.
