Gymnastics veteran and three-time Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas pulled out from the 2024 Winter Cup in Louisville, stating illness. But this setback invites conversation about Douglas’ amazing journey beyond the mats, as told in her book, Grace, Gold, and Glory: My Leap of Faith.

Gabby Douglas is currently dealing with a positive test of COVID-19, thus withdrawing from the season’s opening event. Training in Texas, she updated her fans on social media: “I’m crushed but I’ll see you soon” and looks committed to returning.
