As Trinity Thomas Sets Her Eyes on the 2024 Paris Olympics, Suni Lee Celebrates the ‘34-Time NCAA All-American Gymnasts’ Continuation in the Sport.

The artistic gymnast and four-time National team member Trinity Lemyra Thomas is a gymnast legend. The 22-year-old was also a member of the 2018 Pan American Gymnastics Championship gold medal-winning team. She was the NCAA-all-around champion in 2022. Thomas has a record of 10.0 NCAA Championships in April. 

Thomas, the Florida gator, was recently interviewed by Inside Gymnastics magazine, where she revealed a fantastic piece of news. In 2019, Thomas last competed in elite gymnastics and qualified for the US World selection camp. Thomas had to balance her elite championships with her collegiate gymnastics, but she’s making a return now. This special announcement of Trinity Thomas returning to elite gymnastics was celebrated by the all-around Olympic champion, Sunisa Lee.

Trinity Lemyra Thomas revealed that she will be pursuing a second master’s degree at the University of Florida, focusing on elite sports. But that’s not all the surprising news, she also revealed that she will participate in the 2024 Paris Olympics. “The decision has been made; my eyes are set on the 2024 Paris Olympics”, Thomas announced with the Inside Magazine. This fantastic statement was celebrated by Sunisa Lee, who stated, “been waiting for this one,” expressing her overwhelming emotion. 

“Taking part in the Olympics was her all-time dream, “There is one more dream that I’ve always had, and it’s been cut short a couple of times,” she added, “I’m glad that I get the opportunity to come back to elite gymnastics with my eyes set on Paris 2024.” She said that it is something that she has always wanted to do, and she has much fuel in her tank to continue this amazing journey. Thomas also told the CBS Sports Network about her coaching plans for Gators’ gymnastics team. 

Thomas will serve as a coach with her master’s

After setting the perfect record for NCAA all-around championships in April, she is planning to serve as the student’s assistant coach for Gators’ Gymnastics team. The entire Gators family is excited for Trinity Thomas to volunteer as a student coach and join along with the head coach. Along with her master’s degree and student assistant coach, Thomas is all set for her 2024 Paris Olympics.
