Michael Phelps dropped a cryptic IG story yesterday regarding his participation in the 8 AM Golf Las Vegas Invitational. After sharing the golf enthusiast, Jeff Fujimoto’s IG story, Phelps penned down comically, “Gonna try to NOT take out @michellewiewest knees”. It was the jubilant reply to Fujimoto’s jibe in the story, “I know MP is ready for VEGAS!” The IG story also displayed Michael Phelps standing in front of his picture on a signboard, set up somewhere with all other fellow participants. Eventually, with the 8 AM Las Vegas Invitational, the Baltimore Bullet nurtures a firm connection.
Hosted by Wynn Las Vegas collaborating with Justin Timberlake, the annual golf tournament aims at giving out a space to bond between the golfers. Michael Phelps’ golf prominence received a different height after his 159 ft putt became viral. That was a majestic shot he inflicted in the 2012 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. After that, Phelps made it into several golf championships including this year’s ICON series golf tournament where he represented Team USA. In a conversation with golf. com this year, the American legend confessed about keeping the same trainer, Keenan Robinson, from his swimming spree to continue his fitness training at this level. Eventually, he nurtures the same goal in golf as he used to in swimming – to reach the pinnacle. “It’s going to take a lot of energy. And that’s something that I’m excited to do, because that’s what I did in order to accomplish the goals that I did in the sport of swimming,” he claimed in that conversation.
