According to Daily Mail, he joked about the procedure of casting Hitler for his movie. He expressed, “It’s tricky. Because guys put on a like little crappy mustaches and tape themselves”.

He humorously further added, “And you’re like, dude. The good news is you got the part. The bad news is you’re Hitler. What is it?” When asked about what he did after selecting Hitler, George revealed that it was depressing as it was about shooting the 1936 period. Everybody was aware that Hitler was a bad guy, and he had no idea of how much worse it was going to get, Clooney said.

With this, another interesting fact about this movie is that Terry O’Neil, an Olympics rowing coach, was hired to orchestrate the transformation, even though he was initially unwilling to take on a task that was extremely out of his field.

Olympics Coach expresses his feelings of working in the movie

This movie is about the rowing team in Olympics. The amalgamation of this idea with 2023 actors who haven’t operated a rowing boat before came as a problem. To make things easier, George Clooney hired an Olympics coach Terry O’Neill to help in this transformation. Talking about the offer, O’Neill stated, “When I was first asked to do it, I said, no, I don’t want to do that”.

In this unconventional journey, he focused on instilling the competency skills, and not the Olympics factor in the actors. This practice had a set of its own struggles, but he helped them climb the stairs of success with his implementation idea of the sports for the movie. Now, all the enthusiasts are on their toes to witness this highly anticipated movie based on the 1936 Olympics.
