In a recent interview, she revealed that she is exceptionally good at ice skating.

Olivia Rodrigo recently appeared in an interview with Vogue, where she revealed her phenomenal ice skating skills. The Filipino-American singer-songwriter also inspired a slew of Tiktok and Instagram reels where people are dancing and ice skating to her song.

Here, he visits the residential or office space of various celebrities and asks them 73 questions about their choices and their likings in life. When he visited Olivia Rodrigo recently, one of his questions to her was, “What is something you are surprisingly good at?”

Rodrigo replied, “Ice skating”. Since it was a lesser-known trivia about the 20-year-old singer, there isn’t any further information on where and how she does it, and neither did she substantiate it.

However, her songs have been covered multiple times in multiple backgrounds. That includes ice skating and figure skating to her song ‘Driver’s License’. A YouTube clip by Yare Rosas is especially popular where the sister and her partner are moving in synchronization with the beats of the song.

She also inspired a slew of ice skating-based reels on social media

Rodrigo grew up in Murrieta, California, and very soon entered the entertainment field as a teenager. However, she has always had time to engage in certain athletic activities. Swimming is also something she loves, besides her expertise in ice skating. Whether her love for ice skating influenced her songs or not, a surprisingly high number of figure skaters have danced and skated to her songs.

There is even a YouTube video of US Olympic gold medalist Nathan Chen, who once teased his fans about his return in 2022, dancing to Rodrigo’s song ‘Good 4 U’. Who knows, Rodrigo might someday share a clip of ice skating with her own song someday.
