In her skating journey, Amber Glenn has had several setbacks. In 2023, she had her first chance to appear in the World Skating Championship final. After a plethora of failed attempts and heartbreaks, the 24-year-old skater had ignored her COVID-19 scare and participated to earn a berth in that competition. However, Amber Glenn couldn’t register her best form out there, despite earning a team gold. In previous attempts, the situation had been worse for her, as Glenn couldn’t get a final call-up for the team. So, for a former junior national champion, the achievements failed to do justice to the name.
Amber Glenn had a tab on that gloomy CV of hers that often fell short in front of the national champion Isabeau Levito. Yet she was up for a chance to prove her mettle. January 2024 was her professional catalyst.
