According to IMDB, Amazon MGM Studios plans to adapt two novels into a television series. Authored by Natalie Keller Reinert, The Eventing and Briar Hill Farm are part of a romance book series, but the main story revolves around Jules Thornton, a character based in Ocala. In the novels, Jules is determined to pursue her equestrian dreams despite facing numerous adversities. Along the way, she encounters opposition from her society, but her strong personality and determination help her overcome each challenge, carving her own path to success. Her bond with her horses is profound, as they seem to mirror her strength and resilience, winning match after match. The romantic subplot, featuring her relationship with Peter Morrison, adds another layer to the narrative. Quite a story, isn’t it? However, the author faced some challenges when releasing the first novel in the series. Sounds dramatic, right?

In recent times, author Natalie Keller Reinert has recently received recognition from numerous equestrian-based platforms for her Eventing series. On that list, websites like Horse Illustrated and Equisearch have also made entries. However, in 2014, Natalie had to self-publish Ambition, the first novel of the Eventing series. The series took time to garner popularity. But now that the fandom has reached new heights, Natalie is preparing to re-release Ambition through the publication house, Flatiron. The rumor is that Flatiron has inked a seven-figure deal with Keller Reinert to make the matter hassle-free. But how has Reinert pulled off things once met with complications?

While moving with Natalie’s two novels, Amazon felt satisfied with the subject of the novels. In its bulletin, the production wing penned, “Against the riveting high stakes backdrop of equestrian competition and demanding athleticism, Reinert explores the passions which drive us, the love affairs which fuel us, and the partnerships—both animal and human—which help us thrive and find ourselves.” The fans as well have clapped at the same topic.

Have an interesting take?

In its review of the Ambition series, The Equine Insider celebrated Natalie’s first-hand approach to witnessing everything in equestrian sports, in the firms, and among the people who live by the sports. Because of that experience, the author has been so successful in expressing the emotions in the eight novels in the mentioned series. On the other hand, Natalie slipped a few words on the reason for her success. She also claimed her experiences with the Thoroughbred horses and mounted patrol horses in different phases of her life, helping her to weave the fictional stories. However, for her work, she has already bagged several laurels, including the American Horse Publications Best Fiction Award. Now, Amazon’s announcement acts as the icing on the cake.
