Gates has been an accomplished show-jumper for many years now and has competed in several equestrian sports competitions. She has also won various accolades as a show-jumper. She reportedly met her husband, Nayel Nassar, on the equestrian circuit and has also competed alongside him internationally.
Gates and Nassar got married in October 2021, and the couple announced that they were expecting their first child in November 2022. It is no surprise that Jennifer Gates decided to bring a new life into this world with her husband, as she has made her love for kids known previously. The 2019 June-July issue of the magazine ‘ Equestrian Living’ contained an elaborate interview with Jennifer Gates. In the interview, she revealed, “I love working with kids, and I find children’s health to be fascinating. That’s the area that I think I’ll pursue.”
The interview took place during the drop year that Gates took, hence, it is no doubt that she was talking about the specialization she would take up in medical school. She also added, “I’m fascinated by the human body generally and the human condition, so I want to leave space for myself to explore all fields of possibility in med school.” While Jennifer Gates exuberated deep gravitation toward children, horses have also been an equally important part of her life.
