Bill Gates’s eldest daughter Jennifer Gates is an equestrian by heart. The 27-year-old has been horse riding since the age of 6. In fact, after achieving her degree in human biology in 2018, she took a year off, especially to focus on her equestrian career, going on to enroll in medical school in 2020. However, in the past couple of years, Gates has experienced a series of life-turning events. From getting married to Nayel Nassar to becoming a mother, Jenn focused highly on her family life. However, now, it seems that the equestrian girl is back to the sport. 

Yesterday, Jennifer Gates’s horse riding facility, Evergate Stables, took to its social media to share a glimpse of the 27-year-old getting back to show jumping at the Old Salem Farm. Her Olympic equestrian husband Nayel Nassar also sent her best wishes.

The latest Instagram post of Evergate Stables’ page, featured its owner Jennifer Gates fiercely training. The new mom looked absolutely focused in her equestrian uniform, riding her horse, Dorado de Riverland. Gates also had another fellow equestrian, Philip McGuane join in her show jumping shenanigans. 

Nevertheless, sharing glimpses of her comeback after so long, the post also had a caption for her, @jenniferkgates getting back in the ring on Dorado de Riverland! 💥” Besides welcome wishes from her farm, Jenn also received love from husband Nayel Nassar who could not be there with her due to his injury. He shared the post on his Instagram story and added a heartfelt message for Jenn which read, “Out with an injury for a few more weeks but thrilled to see Phillip and Jenn enjoying the horses as much as I do!”

Indeed, Jennifer enjoys horse riding to her core. In an interview with CNN in 2019, she revealed that horses will forever be the most important part of her life. Also, she highly adores her parents, Bill Gates and Melinda Gates for supporting her equestrian passion from the beginning.

In fact, the Microsoft titan had splurged $1 million during her daughter’s first rookie competition.

Jennifer Gates began practicing with professional equestrians at a young age. As a 15-year-old, she was ready to compete in pro horse riding competitions. Hence, she aimed to enroll her name in the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF).

To support her daughter’s dreams, Gates wanted to make sure Jenn had everything at hand to prepare for the tournament. Therefore, he rented out an eight-bedroom mansion spreading across 7300 sq ft of land in Wellington, Florida. He hired trainers and horses and also rented the $12.9 million mansion for six months which costed him $600,000. Moreover, he also spent incessantly for his family to visit from Washington to Florida for Jenn’s practice. Overall, he spent $1 million for Jenn’s debut competition.

With so many facilities under her belt, Jenn made the best use of her talent from the start. Even now, she will continue following her dreams.
