Horses are some of the best creatures in the world and play a significant role in the field of the equestrian arena. They are not just mere equine athletes; they make graceful partners and loyal companions and are the beating hearts of equestrian sports. But sometimes they can get their riders into trouble and cause a public embarrassment.

One such hilarious incident unfolded during a race recently as a horse got out of the jockey’s control and started doing things of his own in the middle of the race. Unfortunately, this also turned out to be the reason for their defeat in the race.

The amusing video of the horse has been shared by The Sun. As the race starts and horses run out of the stalls, the two-year-old started jumping while running on the track and the jockey did not stand a chance to control the horse.

Interestingly, the equine partner, Dadas Boy, looked more like a rodeo horse. Nonetheless, he was making his debut in the race so it pretty much sums up why he acted like that. Hence, Kevin Stott, the jockey who was riding Dadas Boy was sent off 8-1 for a class 5 5 1/2 sprint.

He could barely manage to make it to the end of the race. In a statement given by Stott, he stated, “The colt broncoed early on and was unrideable thereafter.” The horse was bought by the famous British Football Agent of Kia Joorabchian for a price of $45,000. Though Stott and Dadas Boy lost the race, this debutant impressed everyone with his initial approach.

How the race ended

He started playing a game of his own just when the race started and Stott tried his best to keep the horse on the track. Dadas Boy and Stott finished last in the race with a margin of 42 lengths behind Cotai Vision with odds of 6-1. Stott was having a great season this year, as he was the runner-up at the esteemed Epsom Derby for the three-year-olds in England. He won the Group 2, King Edwards VII Stakes at the Royal Ascot.
