Emerald Downs, a racetrack in Washington State, hosted its first Grandparents Race. It happened during the recently concluded Grandparents Weekend on Sunday, June 25th, 2023. The event captivates immense love and hilarious moments from the participants.

First ‘Grandparents Race’ at Equestrian goes viral

Recently a new video has been uploaded by the Emerald Downs channel. It showed approximately 25 grandparents stepping out of the horse gates, ready to flex their racing skills in a pretty enough 40-yard foot race. While the race was filled with excitement, there were moments of joy as two grandparents tumbled on the dirt track. However,  no injuries were reported.

Apart from this, Steve Butler from Everett, Washington emerged as the winner of the prestigious title of the first-ever “Grandparents Race.” As the signal sounds, they sprint down the dirt track, showcasing their athleticism and winning spirit.

The first-ever ‘Grandparents Race’ has not only provided a platform for participants to upgrade their racing skills but has also brought out the inner child of grandparents.
