US Equestrian has decided to provide equestrian opportunities for all. The primary goal of the grant is to increase access to horses, horse sports, and opportunities for the underrepresented. This grant is a genuine effort put together to improve society.

With over $60,000 in fund grants, US Equestrian Funds got off to a fast start in 2022. However, this year, the USEF Opportunity Grant program has decided to donate more than $128,000 to the nation’s underserved communities. This funding process is an exciting development for the organization.

On June 19, USEF, Kentucky, declared funds to the 13 USEF community outreach organizations. The ultimate goal of US Equestrian for 2023 is to support various projects. The projects include increasing safety equipment and improving the infrastructure.

The organization is also looking forward to expanding the program. US Equestrian President Tom O’Mara said in the US Equestrian press release, “I can’t say enough about these community outreach organizations. I have learned so much about their missions, values, and operations over the past two years.” Addressing their assiduous efforts, he said, “It’s just amazing to see and hear their stories and how they work with horses to help so many people.” He further added, “This started with US Equestrian members from all around the country identifying the need to connect with these organizations, and then it was easy to pitch the Community Outreach Programme to the USEF Board and get an enthusiastic buy-in to make this work.

This year the number of organizations is increased. After a good start, USEF has added 13 organizations for the 2023 fund. This year’s grantee list includes:

  • Beachwood Center for Wellbeing uses it for the programming expenditures of duties and treatments provided to clients.
  • Ebony Horsewomen, for providing horse care, feed, and staff requirements
  • GallopNYC, for services supporting programs Youth and young adults who are at risk, can benefit from the Horse Sense ability.
  • Horses N Heroes provides economic backing to underprivileged girls in their community
  • Horses of Hope to broaden their services
  • The Mustang troop of the Kentucky Horse Park Foundation will utilize it to modify their system.
  • Kindle Hill Foundation Charity, to improve their operations department, by buying HIPAA-compliant technology.
  • Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Centre to broaden its services by buying more horses.
  • Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue, for participant costs in the youth development program.
  • Manes for movement are utilized for mobility and to care for their new horses.
  • Maryland Therapeutic Riding Inc. will purchase two BEMER to strengthen their 16 horses.
  • Taking The Reins, to support the operation process of both horses and staff.

USEF, as an operation, is building a relationship between people and animals as well. Funding efforts through these organizations have made help accessible to many.

US Equestrian Funds Primary Objective

In 2022, USEF provided for seven organizations all over the country. The central objective of USEF is to make horses accessible to the disadvantaged, which includes low-income people, physically challenged people, veterans, native people, and many more.
