In the thrilling world of equestrian racing, there comes a time when a star emerges, capturing the hearts of fans and etching its name in history. Ryvit, the three-year-old colt, has proven to be such a shining star. With a triumphant victory in his previous two outings and a consecutive title in his third race, Ryvit has become a force to be reckoned with in the equestrian world.

Under the legendary training of Hall of Famer Steve Asmussen, Ryvit brings a remarkable five-race winning streak to the prestigious Amsterdam Stakes, where he is set to compete for the grand prize of $200,000 at Saratoga Race Course on July 28th.

As reported by Blood Horse, Ryvit’s journey to becoming an unstoppable force on the racetrack started with a promising career. It took him four starts to graduate, but once he achieved his first victory by overpowering a restricted maiden special weight field at Oaklawn Park in March, there was no stopping for him. His journey to glory continued with back-to-back wins in the Bachelor Stakes at Oaklawn in April and the Chick Lang Stakes (G3) at the Pimlico Race Course in May. Most recently, Ryvit conquered the challenging Maxfield Stakes in July at Ellis Park over a sloppy and sealed main track, showcasing his versatility and determination.

Under the watchful eye of the renowned trainer Steve Asmussen, Ryvit has transformed into a true win machine as he stated, “We started him early last year and he had a weird incident at the gate where it didn’t come open smoothly, and that caused quite a bit of an issue with him. It took him three more races to get that out of his head.”

However, it wasn’t always smooth sailing for this remarkable colt. Asmussen revealed that early on, Ryvit faced a peculiar incident with the starting gate, causing some initial issues. But through sheer perseverance and dedication, Ryvit overcame his fears, and in the last three races, he emerged victorious in his signature front-running style. His career already looks pretty impressive, with a major race coming in two days.
