Bill Gates’ daughter Jennifer has her fingers in a lot of pies. Married to the Egyptian equestrian Nayel Nassar, she is an accomplished equestrian herself. She is a doting mother to eight-month-old Leila. Besides all that, she is also a medical student. Her cup overflows but she has more than a good handle on her situation. She recently added to her collection of medals.

Jennifer Gates was at the $25,000 National Horse Show Junior/Amateur Jumper Grand Prix. Astride her faithful steed Donvier, whom she affectionately calls Paris, she secured the third-place medal at that event. The event was held at the Kentucky Horse Park’s Alltech Arena in Lexington. Post the event, Gates took to social media. She showed appreciation toward her favorite mount and the rest of her team.

Bill Gates’ eldest child, Jennifer Gates, took to Instagram to share a story. The adjoining image was from a post shared by Evergate Stables, owned and operated by Jenn and her husband. She captioned the image with the words, “Paris (third place medal emoji) (star emoji) thank you team!!! So fun! (smiling face emoji)”

Donvier, aka Paris, is now the only horse ridden by the 27-year-old, according to the Evergate Stables’ official website. He is a gelding who joined the team only in August of this year. Donvier was born in 2012. Sired by Don VHP Z with Ardina by way of Andiamo Z, he has wormed his way into the heart of Bill Gates’ oldest. He was unable to help her clinch the top spot on this occasion.

The Junior/Amateur Jumper Grand Prix was the penultimate event on the penultimate day of the National Horse Show. It began on October 25 of this year with equitation over fences in the 18-24 age bracket and concluded on Sunday, November 5. While Jennifer Gates’ next step is unclear, there is no mistaking the fact that she has managed an intricate balancing act. She has overcome many obstacles, just like her father, in pursuit of her passion. This will stand her in good stead as she looks ahead to her future.
