It was a struggle for Sharon Jarvis at first to get Odie inside Australia, due to the Australian Equine Influenza Outbreak at the time. However, convinced that Odie and she are meant to form a rider-ride relationship and attain glory, Jarvis waited 6 months before she could get him entry into her nation. In the end, her efforts were all worth it. The equestrian world has always mourned the loss of a great horse, just like the legendary racehorse Galileo in 2021.
