Wahlberg is a big believer in giving his kids the opportunity to build their own future and live their own dreams. And if that means moving away from the hustle, bustle, and the din of Hollywood, so be it. Mark Wahlberg and his wife Rhea Durham moved their entire family from Los Angeles to Las Vegas and the couple have no regrets. After years of building a home in LA, near Tinseltown, which is Wahlberg’s workplace, the couple decided it was best for their kids. Now, going by their youngest daughter’s enthusiasm toward her equestrianism career, they seem to think it was worth it.

In a recent interview with People magazine, Mark Wahlberg stated, “I called her this morning at like 10 o’clock. I wanted to catch her before she left to go to the barn. She was already at the barn on the horse”. He follows it with a laugh, thinking that she is just like her dad. Wahlberg continues, “So she’s she’s got my work ethic for sure”.

Wahlberg himself wakes up at 4 am and starts his workout. He does this daily without skipping once, and he calls it his 4 am club. His daughter Grace Wahlberg is equally determined and disciplined, if not more. He continues, “She does not mess around. If you’ve even think about getting her there late or missing something, it’s a big problem”.

How Mark Wahlberg supported her daughter’s dream

Mark Wahlberg is himself a busy man as an actor, a businessperson, and a fitness enthusiast. But he still ensures that he never misses the big moments in his daughter’s life. From a young age, Grace took a likening to horses, and Wahlberg always egged her toward her interests. In fact, when she won her early competitions in dressage and equestrian events, Wahlberg was a proud dad. He would even take to Instagram to share his daughter’s achievements from when she wasn’t even 10.

Today, after building a $400 million worth of empire and being one of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood, Mark Wahlberg is still pretty content living his life in Las Vegas. He insists that his kids love it and if it helps them in pursuing their passion, then he made the right choice.
