This humongous penthouse was earlier owned by the Formula 1 race car champion Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton sold it to a Seattle-based trust in November 2021 for the price of a whopping $49.5 million. The building has previously had many celebrities as residents, including Jennifer Lawrence, Meg Ryan, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, Harry Styles, Jake Gyllenhaal, the Weeknd, and more.
The penthouse is considered to be the building’s “crown jewel”. An apt word for an apartment that has six bedrooms, six baths, two powder rooms, 20-foot-high ceilings, multiple terraces, and two parking spaces. The home is the largest in the building and has its very own personal elevator as well. But Jennifer Gates is no stranger to living in luxurious homes.
The Gates heiress and her expensive homes
After Jennifer Gates graduated from Stanford University, she received a gift of a 124-acre, $16 million Westchester horse farm from her parents. This is where she and the Olympic Equestrian Nayel Nassar got married in October 2021. In 2018, Jennifer Gates was living in a $5 million apartment which is located at 1212 Fifth Avenue. This apartment was once occupied by Carmelo and La La Anthony. However, that unit has been put up for sale now.
