As reported by the South Florida Sun Sentinel, on Friday, these two fillies named Milagro and Venus were stolen from the World Class Equestrian Center in South Ranches. It first came to the attention of a worker when he woke up in the morning to feed these horses. Milagro was nine months old, while Venus was three years old, and they were found absent from the grassy rear area of the property in the Rolling Oaks community. The incident was reported by Elina Blaquier, who works as an equestrian professional at the same center.

However, the exact time of their disappearance is yet to be figured out as the center was out of power for the whole night, and henceforth CCTV was also inactive during the same hours. As per further reports, the theft is believed to have occurred at dawn. Police have launched the investigation and are working to find out the potential leads. Blaquier is also sure that it is a theft and that the fillies have not left the barn on their own.

What she thinks about the stealing

Blaquier added that she has been working at the center for years and that no such disappearance has ever happened. It was also reported that the fillies were left near a wooden gate, which is in a relatively dark area of the property during the night. But she was assured, as the wooden fence was shattered from the outside of the barn. She also added that the center has never reported a single incident since its inception 20 years ago. She said that someone approached the horses with hay and came closer to them, as fresh hay was also found nearby the barn, and footprints were also spotted.
