And the best of all was Luis Sabino Goncalves. Sabino Goncalves rode Vick Du Croisy for the first time, and both shone brightly, like diamonds in the rough. The duo were the second pair to attempt the jump, and set the highest time, the time no one could even fathom coming close to. Sabino Goncalves’ time was an approximate at 30.556, a landslide victory in equestrian parlance. Sharn Wordley (NZL) and Daniel Michan?s Champion League set a whopping 38.188 seconds and none of the other athletes could beat it, although a few came close. USA’s Richard Spooner made a terrific run. He, however, finished at 30.627 seconds, and Goncalves’s timing remained untouched.

Though Sabino looked nearly perfect in his show, he admitted that he was a little uncertain for a moment at the time of striding. “I was thinking I could take a stride out to the double and then to the liverpool, but I was a bit unsure. This footing is so fast, you think to move, and you get there immediately, “, he explained. As if this huge victory wasn’t enough, Sabino went on to show some more magic.
