Despite not winning, Backstrom cherished the experience, describing it as “a hell of an experience” that was incredibly fun and exhilarating and stated, “It’s of course a bummer, but I have to say it was a hell of an experience, It is incredibly fun, it’s fast, and we got a feel for the weather a little as well… Got a little dirty, it was very fun I thought.” Backstrom’s involvement in the equestrian world extends beyond this event, as his company invests in horse trotting racing.
