Romines’ cake features a chocolate topper shaped like a rider mounted on a horse. The words ‘Kentucky Derby 149’ could be seen across the cake, decorated with royal red icing roses. These roses beautifully complimented the green cream around the words ‘Kentucky Derby 149’ on the cake. In an Instagram post, she revealed that the sponge was made of buttermilk and consisted of vanilla bean filling.

Romines also disclosed to WHAS11 that the price of the cake is $500. The Lexington baker also assured that every component of the cake was perfectly edible. Further, she informed fans that the winner of this giveaway cake would be announced on Wednesday, 5th May, which is a day before the Kentucky Derby begins.
