Is this $8.45 million estate the ultimate dream for horse lovers or an extravagant indulgence?

Equestrianism is more than just the races witnessed by spectators on the course. The classiness of the sport extends to the properties and the luxury of posh estates that are perfect for horse riding and building a community. One of these exciting properties is on sale.

For sale for $8.45 million is an equestrian estate in Lake County that has room for people and their dreams along with their horses. The nearly 70-acre property at 22422 Lake Seneca Rd. in Eustis is a “unique masterpiece,” Stacey Rollins, a listing agent, told Growth Spotter. The 10,000-square-foot custom home was constructed and built by Hofmeister in 2009. It sits atop a hilly area.“When you first come through the gate, you know you’re entering into something that’s very grand. [Driving] to the house, it’s a very long tree-lined driveway,” she described, adding that the property is one of the people’s favorites.

“That’s what they have in their mind, and this one fits that description perfectly. It’s almost like an anticipation to get to this estate.” The recently renovated estate has in total six bedrooms with great ceilings, a cozy stairway, and an elevator, among others. It also has six washrooms.

However, the agent’s favorite room in the whole equestrian house is the kitchen. It features Viking appliances and can double as a home office. Just down the hill from the main residence, there’s a 2,100-square-foot guest house—a classic country farmhouse with porches on every side and ample bedrooms and bathrooms. Built in 1988, this guest house predates the primary home.

The property is truly special and unique. It features two barns—one designed for residents and the other for horses. The resident barn includes a space that can be used as an artist’s studio, ideal for buyers with creative pursuits. The entire place is adorned with Clint Eastwood posters, adding a distinctive touch.

Stacey said, “You can be creative all day in the barn and then go upstairs to your private saloon that even has a balcony overlooking your property. I have never seen anything like this.” Thus, the estate is truly special and worth the money for horse lovers. But that is not the only feature it has.

Other features of the equestrian estate

Upon entering the horse barn, buyers will discover a luxurious space tailored for their animals. The barn includes seven spacious stalls, each with automatic waterers to meet the horses’ needs. There are also groom quarters, which are fully air-conditioned and feature a kitchen and washroom. Additionally, the property includes fully fenced paddocks, perfect for horse riding and exercise.

It gives buyers ample room to ride throughout the property as well. According to the listing agent, the current owners mainly ride for pleasure rather than competitively. They have maintained 20 acres of horse trails, providing riders with their own private area and paths—an uncommon feature in equestrian estates. The agent already has the perfect buyer in mind.

This property would be ideal for creative individuals, perhaps from areas like California, who make a living through writing or art and have a passion for horses. Conveniently, an international airport is nearby, and Miami is just a train ride away. This makes it a prime investment opportunity, likely to attract many potential buyers soon.
