One of the titans of Hollywood, Mark Wahlberg has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. However, his daughter chose a different path- a path Mark has also fallen in love with now. Grace Wahlberg is rising through the equestrian ranks, and will surely fulfill the dream of being a Grand Prix winner.

Currently 13, Grace started riding horses at the age of six. She has participated in several competitions nationwide, producing stellar performances each time. Supporting her are her beloved mares, and a star trainer, who she recently wished on her birthday.

Grace Wahlberg pens heartfelt note for her trainer

Mark’s equestrian daughter has three mares closer to her heart than any. Bernadette, Rainland Flurry, and Scarface are her beloved equines, however, she equally loves her trainer, Denise Finch. Finch has long been with Grace and the 13-year-old wishes for many more years of companionship.

Grace recently penned a heartfelt note for the equestrian trainer on her birthday. “Happy birthday to the best trainer ever! I love you so much Denise and I can’t thank you enough for absolutely everything! ”, she wrote, posting a picture of Finch holding her beloved mare. The two seem to have developed a strong bond, Grace hopes to prolong it forever as she adds, “Can’t wait for many more years”.

Despite being under the shadows of Mark’s legacy, Grace is slowly building an image of her own. She boasts a burgeoning trophy cabinet and is nationally ranked as well. Earlier, her father revealed her dreams of becoming a Grand Prix jumper someday. Now, she is surely on the path as she replicates her father’s worth ethic.

Mark Wahlberg’s equestrian daughter possesses the same drive

Grace recently pulled off her first double clear jump aboard Bernadette in the 1.10m category. She finished 7th in the event and continues to rise through the ranks. While Grace is still young, and early in her career, she has already started replicating her father’s work ethic, who is a well-known fitness freak.
