As the Longines FIE Jumping World Cup 2023/24 proceeds to its final stages, the equestrian world is once again left impressed by last year’s London Grand Prix Winner. Out of the total 14 legs, 11 have been completed as the Irishman emerges victorious in Leipzig. And the breathtaking victory came aboard his charming mare Legacy.
A former World Champion, Daniel Coyle further stamped his authority after winning the London Grand Prix last year in December. As he adds another World Cup victory to his name, the 30-year-old is walking towards a legendary career.

Derry’s Daniel Coyle has combined perfectly with the 14-year-old mare Legacy. After the London Victory, the duo secured a sensational victory in the five-star Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Grand Prix at Leipzig on Sunday. Coyle was one of the 13 riders to make it for the jump-offs, and later, the 30-year-old posted a super fast timing to steer towards the $50k prize. Posting a clip of his sumptuous ride, Clip My Horse TV International wrote, “Fast, faster, Daniel Coyle 🇮🇪 🚀 With 31.70 seconds in the jump-off, the Irish rider and his amazing mare Legacy snatched victory at Leg 11 of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ in Leipzig“.

The World Champion was increasingly fast and precise with his moves. In the second round, Coyle jumped to the top of the standings with 31.70 seconds. Eventually, he was crowned the champion with Swish equestrian Martin Fuchs posting 32.13-second rides. It also marked Coyle and Legacy’s second Grand Prix victory in a month after the London heroics on 18th December. After the victory, the Derryman had sweet words for his charming mare.

Daniel Coyle all praise for Legacy
Daniel Coyle and Legacy posted an exhilarating 34.82-second ride in the final round to secure the top spot at the London Grand Prix. Post the win, Coyle had sweet words for the 14-year-old mare. After acknowledging the support of his staff, he expressed, “Lеgacy was amazing – shе dеsеrvеd it“.

Proved once again today, Legacy really is staying true to her name, and so is Coyle’s belief now. “She’s a horse of a lifetime…Legacy achieved her beautiful name“, he added. With still a few more legs left for the Jumping World Cup, the Irishman will hope to add one more victory to his name.
