Interestingly, the hotel resides in the suburbs of Louisville, so it would be easier for tourists to commute from Churchill Downs to the nearby neighborhood. It is located in the East Market District (NuLu), which is 10 minutes away from the racetrack with a 5.6-mile-long route to cover. Clearly, days ahead of Kentucky Derby, Hotel Genevieve boosted the adrenaline rush of the spectators and attendees who booked their stay in Louisville’s NuLu district.
