The sale is coming up with the siblings of major event winners like Mage, Adare Manor, etc.

As per the reports from Blood Horse, it was $28,106,800 worth Into Mischief who reigned supreme on the first day of the sale. He is the four-time leading North American sire, and one of his sired horse was the top seller at $2.3 million (Hip 92).

Apart from this, four of his other sired yearlings also boasted seven-figure sales, and with this, he became the first sire to have five seven-figure yearlings in a single session. Storm Cat also achieved the same feat in the 2007 September sale, but it came in during the second session.

Gainesway had a strong start to the day and concluded its consignment by selling three Into Mischief yearlings for $1 million or above. Brian Graves, the General Manager of Gainesway, stated, “You never know. That’s your first horse in the ring bringing a million dollars.”

The first horse that the consignors presented broke the million-dollar mark for the session and was sold to Grandview Equine for $1.1 million. This colt’s lineage includes the sire Into Mischief and the dam American Gal, who is the winner of multiple Grade 1 races. Gainesway had a great opening day and they further got some great deals in their bags.
