Mark Wahlberg’s four children have all fetched an avid interest in various sports fields. Football, golf, or equestrianism, the ‘Uncharted’ actor has nurtured the youngsters’ dream well and beyond. However, the youngest of his 4 children, Grace, has trodden the equestrian path rather well to exude excellence and find community support.

The 13-year-old, Grace Wahlberg, started young in her equestrian lessons, marking steady progress. Waking up early, maintaining discipline, and looking after the stables, are some pointers on her keen interest that Mark iterated upon. Today, her passion has led her to conquer events and ribbons, garnering wide recognition; evident from her 2023 round-up.

The equestrian cherish the past season

The arrival of the new year evoked a past season reminiscing from the aspiring equestrian. “Thank you 2023 for all the fun, the lessons, and the opportunities!” Grace wrote, sharing a clip of herself on one of her horses. “I couldn’t be more grateful for such an amazing year! and I also couldn’t be more grateful to be going into 2024 with the best team, friends, and of course the best horses!” she continued. Her parents Rhea Durham and Mark Wahlberg, and her three equines have been the enthusiast’s constant companions throughout.

 

From entering the year as a ranked (7th) equestrian to fetching a double clear in the Children’s mini Grand Prix, the youngster has had an eventful equestrian year. Following her accomplishments, her parents always ensured to send in their cheers. “Dad and I almost threw up but we made it through,” Rhea wrote following Las Vegas Nationals. Today, as she chimed in yet again to deliver her wishes over a successful season, the model wasn’t alone.

Grace finds love from the community

A week of Las Vegas Nationals, the HITS Horse Show, and West Palm Events were some of the contests Grace showed up this year, winning ribbons. Her growth throughout these events earned applause from the spectators online. “Proud of all the growth you accomplished this year as a horseman & a human. Can’t wait to see what the new year brings,” one of the comments read. While Rhea remarked, “Blessed,” with a gratitude sign.

Another one of the users sent congratulations stating, “Congratulations Grace! I hope 2024 is your best year! Happy New year to you and your family.” And another wished the young equestrian well. “May all your accomplishments grace you with the opportunities in future events. Great job you and your horses are meant to be riding together you are a team and the love for then shows.” While the love poured in, one encouraged the youngster on saying, “My favorite rider. Happy New Year Grace May 2024 bring you all blue ribbons.”
