Notably, Arcangelo is on a winning streak in the last three starts of his career, and National Treasure won the only race of his career, the Preakness Stakes.

Apart from these three, Forte will also receive competition from Grade I Blue Grass winner Tapit Trice, Grade III Matt Winn winner Disarm, and Scotland, who is trained by Hall of Famer William Mott. However, Forte will step into the race as the crowd’s favorite, as he is the reigning Breeders’ Cup Juvenile winner. He also missed the Belmont Stakes title by just a few inches after his return from the injury. While he could face stiff competition from his fellow competitors, Forte’s track record tells a different tale.
