The equestrian realm is booming right now as the disciplines are garnering more fans with each passing event. Having said so, horse racing, dressage, and rodeo and driving have had the best 2023 season. Besides the equines and the bulls, the jockeys and trainers have also achieved individual milestones. In the same vein, another success story has surfaced.
The Belgian jockey Glenn Geerts, most popularly known for competing in driving, had participated in the FEI Driving World Cup. Competing alongside greats like Boyd Exell, Bram Chardon, and Michael Brauchle in Stockholm was a huge thing for him. But the current 5th in standings has some more stories to share.

Glenn Geerts sports his determined self
In 2022, Geerts had finished third at the FEI Driving World Cup early this year, before the trials, he had a strong mindset. Said, “For this show I’m not nervous at all. I’m learning step by step to control my nerves. I’m confident, yes, as my horses and I have proved we can do it.”

He further added, “And I’m excited, as always! Leipzig has an electric public with sympathy for our sport. Competing against these top drivers makes you excited, yes!” It’s no surprise that the 34-year-old is sporting that outlook later this season as well. And hopefully, he would reach the French city with remarkable scores.
