Julien Epaillard won first place in the World Cup in Amsterdam a year ago. The French rider returned this year to win the Grand Prix of Amsterdam once again. He topped the 1.60m category while riding Dubai du Cedre. Out of the 10 pairings who advanced to the start, the horse-rider duo won with an incredible margin, leaving behind the local rivals. “Winning the World Cup and the Grand Prix consecutively requires two superb horses. I am extremely satisfied with Donatello and Dubai,” he said after yesterday’s win.
