With several horses in contention at Parx Racing, Turf Monster Stakes (G3) turned out to be a rain-affected race with sloppy tracks. However, there is always a winner and this time it is a $704,230 equine named Nobody Listens. Nobody Listens was purchased for $40,000 at Ocala Breeders Sales by owners Mathew Kwiatkowski, Jason Kaylon, and Roger Browning when he was 2 years old.

Despite having a not-so-great start to his career in Equestrian sports, Indiana-bred equine is coming true to his potential. Continuing his winning run, Nobody Listens clinched his second consecutive turf race at Saturday’s $250,000 Turf Monster Stakes. Tim Eggleston-trained took the lead from the start and left equestrian enthusiasts in awe.

Nobody Listens was on a three-race winning streak before the Turf Monster Stakes (G3). Although the odds weren’t that much in favor of him, he still managed to pull away a comfortable victory. Given that the race was tough, very few horses were able to pass over this rain-soaked course, the equine is slowly getting big in the equestrian world.

Ridden by Tyler Gaffailone, Nobody Listens started off quickly. He pulled away from the opposite equines, securing a three-length victory at 1:01:40 in the 2023 $250,000 Turf Monster Stakes (G3). The Son of Conveyance has thus now improved his record to 14-for-26 after capturing the Parx Dash last month in a local five-furlong grass test. With this convincing victory, the Indiana-bred equine takes his career earnings to $704,230.

The Smooth B chased Nobody Listens throughout the race despite a quick start from the Indiana-bred fly. Although $ 704,230 equine still won the race, Smooth B ended the race clear of 3-5 favorite Roses for Debra, who was the only female participant in the five-furlong grass dash. Considering his recent form, Nobody Listen’s co-owner Roger Browning is hopeful for a great race at Breeders’ Cup 2023.

Speaking with Paulick Report, rider Tyler Gaffailone expressed that he just let the horse run the race. On the other hand, owner Roger Browning lauded Tyler for his exceptional riding.

Tyler (Gaffailone) had never ridden him before but he did his homework and he came to us and told us what he wanted to do and we let him do it. Just go. He’s tough.”, Roger said. While expressing his hopes on Nobody Listens for the Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint, Browning added, “We planned it out to avoid all the big boys for right now. And now we’re here and we’re hoping to go to the Breeders’ Cup.”
