The British Queen extended her support to Dyland Ward, who has been dealing with cancer treatment. Ward is an ardent equestrian enthusiast and loves the sport, dressage in particular. With this, Dujardin also joined a respected list of athletes giving back to society.

Charlotte Dujardin fulfills equestrian fan’s wish

We all have heard about deteriorating situations in equestrian sports. However, there are people giving back to the sport as well. A true champion and a loving mother, Charlotte Dujardin has jumped into the act now. Dujardin recently helped a cancer-affected child, Dylan Ward, fulfill his equestrian wish.

Ward is receiving cancer treatment treatment. However, he is a passionate equestrian fan. Ward’s case was brought to the fore by Craig Messenger who invited him to watch his horses train. The trainer also shared the story on his Instagram and Dujardin appreciated Craig for his kind act.”It’s so kind of Craig Messenger and his team to do this for Dylan”, she wrote.

As the boy battles cancer, he is receiving tremendous support from the horse racing community. This togetherness is what binds the equestrian community together. Charlotte Dujardin has surely done himself good with this kind act. However, there have been several other athletes who have also given back to society.

Equestrian athletes give back to society

While Charlotte Dujardin has surely done something remarkable, she isn’t the first one to do so. Margaret Hamilton Duprey is one such name. A renowned name in the equestrian community, Duprey has effectively impacted 27,000 women in Kenya. She partnered with Brooke USA to create Women4Donkeys. The program aims to provide quality education and business opportunities to women.

Another reputed name that has given back to the equestrian world is Missy Clark. Clark is an accomplished trainer, having trained over 35 equitation champions. Clark played a crucial role in establishing PURA. PURA aims to preserve and improve the cowboy life in Philadelphia.
