She has been taking classes and meeting ponies for a long time back and now created an awe-inspiring moment for the Equestrian community.
Lexi, who hails from Rainworth, the same village as Beth, visited their yard at her mother’s invitation to meet a therapy pony. However, fate had different plans, and Lexi’s heart was captured by Brian instead. Despite the challenges Lexi has faced, she never gave up. She was diagnosed with Wilms’ tumor at the age of six. And has received tremendous support and love from her local community. Sam Gorman provided Lexi with riding lessons on school ponies, with the community rallying together to raise funds for her riding gear, including a cap and something to protect her. Beth expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming support, noting that everyone chipped in to help Lexi. Inspired by Lexi’s courage, Beth’s mother reached out to the riding club, of which they have been members since Beth was Lexi’s age, to request something special for her.
Surprisingly, the riding club organized a class specifically for Lexi, presenting her with a rosette in her favorite color. In a touching gesture, all the rings were paused during her class.
Beth revealed that she had provided Lexi with the option to bring her oxygen into the ring, but Lexi confidently chose to leave it behind and forge ahead without it. Although it was heartbreaking to witness, the moment was also incredibly inspiring. Despite Brian’s previous qualifications for prestigious shows like the Royal International and Horse of the Year Show, this particular experience held even more significance for Beth and Lexi.

In addition to the unforgettable show, the team called up an Equestrian photographer for capturing beautiful and precious memories of Lexi. Along with this as a small contribution and to support her, they established a fundraising page.
Lexi’s mother, Danielle, couldn’t contain her overwhelming pride and emotions as she reflected on an extraordinary day. The rosettes that Lexi won now hold a place of honor on her hospital bed, serving as a constant reminder of her remarkable achievement. Lexi’s excitement in the days leading up to the show, her heart filled with love for Brian and eager anticipation for their reunion in the ground. The show itself was a remarkable and poignant occasion, with kind and compassionate individuals coming together, and applauding Lexi’s achievements.
