Bruce Springsteen’s exceedingly talented daughter Jessica Springsteen forged her own path and became an equestrian. Her musician parents gifted her a non-paparazzi environment in a horse farm setting, which fueled her show jumping dreams. By just a fraction, her 2020 Tokyo Olympic dreams remained unlived. But the strong-willed 31-year-old hasn’t given up hope.

The iconic Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping has kicked off on December 6, and is looking forward to a grand conclusion on the 10th. Willing to serve over 40,000 spectators with the utmost thrill of equestrianism, the Palexpo Arena is already giving away coins. Having said so, the recent Credit Suisse Coupe du Jockey Club has a stellar line-up with the 31-year-old among them.

CHI de Genève had taken to their Instagram handle to celebrate Sweden’s Von Eckermann’s victorious moment. Captioned it as, “CREDIT SUISSE CHALLENGE – What a fast round for Henrick von Eckermann, winning his second class today!” In CHI de Genève’s carousel of photos, Springsteen’s daughter graced a frame. Aboard the 12-year-old Glamour Girl, the Swedish rider flung to victory. On December 9, in-front of the packed crowd, the equine-equestrian duo scored one and half second more than the runners-up. Interestingly, the governing body has named the day events as classes, which were introduced in 2022. These classes provide an opportunity for the dilettante riders to compete in the picturesque Genevan arena.

For securing a spot in the upcoming Rolex Grand Prix, the show jumping classes would open a door for the youngsters. Interestingly, the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping has caught more attention since it’s their 10th anniversary. So, the 1.1 million Euros grand prize will have a more worthy owner this time. But the 31-year-old faced an upset in the previous event too.

Springsteen’s LGCT run

At the fifth edition of the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix, the 2020 Tokyo Olympics team silver medalist initiated her strides. But gave up the win to Julien Epaillard, who walked home with a whopping 1.26 million euros. But the human-equine duo of Springsteen and Don Juan van de Donkhoeve was the highlight.

Despite a loss, the benign rider didn’t have any repugnance for her beloved Don. Instead, she patted her on the back as a note of appreciation. As Gustaaf Quintelier had already trained Don’s mother, a perfect home was a necessity for the former. Now, the world has set its sight on the duo to make a winning comeback again.
