In this conversation with Sidelines Magazine in 2020, Jennifer admitted, “I know I won’t always be able to compete, or even ride every week.” This hints at the fact that Jennifer is aware that she will have to focus on her medical education at some point in her life. But this is not all. Continuing, Jennifer shared her love for horses, by expressing, “But horses are special. I can’t imagine not having them as a part of my life.”

Later, Bill Gates’s daughter spoke about her approach toward a future where she has many options which are equally attractive. “I’m excited to continue to learn and share what I can with people”, she expressed. Further, she implied that learning from other people’s experiences from various fields would prove beneficial to her as a physician. Giving credit to her parents’ immense support for her equestrian passion, Jennifer Gates expressed gratitude that horse riding was still a part of her life.
