The American musical sensation Bruce Springsteen’s daughter, Jessica Springsteen, has made many heads turn her way through her incredible flair in horseback riding. From winning CSI-5 Grand Prix in 2016 to clinching the silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Springsteen has covered it all. Nonetheless, she credits the major chunk of her successful career to her childhood home in Colts Neck Township, New Jersey, where for the first time, her interest in equitation was piqued by the ponies living on the farm. However, the haven where she fell in love with horseback riding was sold in a million-dollar deal in 2021.

In 1994, the Springsteen family moved from Los Angeles to Colts Neck, New Jersey. More so, the family had ponies at the Stone Hill Farm in Colts Neck. Therefore, living in proximity to the horses sparked Jessica Springsteen’s interest in equitation. Since then, she has been unstoppable. However, the Colts Neck property that paved the way for the 31-year-old’s equitation profession was sold for a hefty amount a couple of years back.

In 2021, the Dancing in the Dark singer listed his Colts Neck property for sale with an opulent ask for $27.5 million. The 127-acre estate harbors a mansion adorned with grandeur and outstanding amenities, an idyllic porch, and the equestrian arena, where Jessica Springsteen kick-started her journey as a horseback rider. More so, as per the report of Mansion Global, the equitation field included stables, two barns, and 14 acres of pasture.

The real estate agent, Whitney Didier, hailed the framework of the Colts Neck horse riding field and stated, “It’s a very unique offering…..Not only to the New Jersey area but to any equestrian estate”. Not just that, Didier also described the idyllic panorama of the Colts Neck property and mentioned, “It’s majestic”. She further added, “It honesty takes your breath away”.

Nonetheless, the 31-year-old once pulled off the curtains from her love for horses and credited her success to her childhood passion for equitation. She revealed how the Stone Hill Farm played a prominent role in her vocation and asserted, “I would go ride every day after school. I never wanted to skip a lesson. If I ever had to for any reason I’d be upset so it’s just always really focused on it”. Interestingly, the Colts Neck town of New Jersey is renowned for its sprawling equestrian homes, one of which, spanning 400 acres, belongs to the American singer and songwriter Bruce Springsteen.

Following the sale of their estate, the Springsteen family moved back to Hollywood. While Bruce Springsteen and his wife Patti Scialfa live in Benedict Canyon in Beverly Hills, the champion moved to the Netherlands in 2014, way before the Colts Neck house got listed for sale in the market. Interestingly, she moved to Holland to pursue her career in horseback riding and is currently settled there. Describing her abode in the small town of Valkenswaard in Holland, the equestrian once enthused in an interview with CNN, “It’s so great. They have the woods, two indoor rings and the amazing [Valkenswaard] ring. I think the horses are really, really happy over here”.
