The Global Champions Prague playoffs have been the most awaited event in the show-jumping calendar. Having accumulated the best of the equestrian world throughout the year, the GCL has finally set foot on the grounds of 02 Arena, Prague. Sixteen teams saddle up for a thrilling weekend, joining along the fun and excitement would be ‘The Boss’ Bruce Springsteen’s equestrian daughter Jessica.

Jessica Springsteen has trodden the path to owning an established name in the show jumping industry. From multiple Grand Prix wins to making it as an Olympian, Jessica has come a long way. Today, as the Longines Global Championships takes its ultimate course, the 31-year-old has marked a remarkable presence yet again; remaining just as enthusiastic and passionate.

Jessica celebrates her Prague presence

The weekend event of GC Prague is scheduled to run from the 16th of November to the 19th. And as Jessica made it to the heart of the Czech Republic for the same, the equestrian couldn’t contain her excitement. On the 16th, the youngster took to Instagram to share a doting image of herself smiling aboard her equine companion from her time at London LGC. Captioning the post, Jessica wrote “Excited to be in Prague this week,” with celebratory emoticons.

Mother Patricia Scialfa, and fashion brand Tommy Hilfiger joined the crowd as thousands cheered on the equestrian on her major feat. Though the playoffs took off on the evening of the 16th, a rather exciting event awaits Jessica during the following days.

The equestrian aims for a big win

The Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix has been the ultimate aim for the show jumping stars throughout the season of 2023. The stance stands even truer for all the golden ticket winners for the Super Grand Prix. 16 of the best in show jumping business garnered their way to the event; acing 16 different stops of the tour. Joining the list of the coveted, Jessica, performed for dominance at London GCL; thus returning to a Super Grand Prix qualifier.

Jessica, among the rest, will face two challenging 1.65m tracks at the 02 Arena on the evening of the 18th, Saturday. Philipp Weishaupt (GER), the winner of 2023?s kick-off stage, 2018 LGCT Super Grand Prix winner, David Will, and world number one, Henrik von Eckermann (SWE), are some of the competitors Olympian Jessica Springsteen will be locking horns with. The equestrian earned 61st IN CSI5* 1.45M against the clock on the opening day. However, with the ultimate title inches away, Jessica will aim for a shunning performance.
