Recently, the ‘famous American billionaire Bill Gates was seen as an animated viewer of the Paris Olympics. Bill Gates is spotted rooting for America’s Simone Biles and Egyptian equestrian Nayel Nassar. 

Microsoft’s founder stems his support to the equestrian because of their close-knit family connection. Nayel Nassar married Gates’ daughter, Jennifer Gates-Nassar, in 2021. Nassar has been representing Egypt in international events for years, unfazed by his American nationality; Egypt is his native place. Born in Chicago and raised in Kuwait, Nassar’s passion for equestrian sport was born young, at the age of 5.

The Egyptian native started galloping at 10, which was not a bad start. After qualifying for the FEI show further in 2013, 2014, and 2017, he is now at the Olympics for the second time! Bill Gates, alongside his girlfriend Paula Hurd, joined Nayel’s cheer team in the French capital. The 3-time Grand Prix winner hails his wishes not only from the father-in-law Gates but from his biological mother-in-law Melinda too!

Melinda French Gates was also seen hailing his son-in-law at his important event, the Paris Olympics, as he represents Egypt. Billionaire philanthropist, Melinda shared an Instagram post a week ago, posting a picture of her son-in-law, Nayel Nassar. Penning down her gust in the caption, she wrote, “So excited to watch you compete at the Olympics, @nayelnassar! I’m rooting for you 🥰” Melinda and Bill Gates’ youngest daughter, Phoebe Gates, too commented on the post supporting her brother-in-law, expressing her animation she said, “Let’s goo !!!” The Gates family is jittery in joy to see Nayel Nassar competing for his homeland on Parisian soil, interestingly enough, his wife and Gates’ elder daughter, Jennifer Nassar, is too intrigued and connected with every tiny tidbit at the Games.
