Bill Gates’ equestrian son-in-law Nayel Nassar is a three-time winner of the HITS $1 Million Grand Prix and an only accomplisher of the 5* Grand Prix and Speed Challenge at the Longines Masters Event, both together. With all his accomplishments, he is always putting up the best face of the Evergate stables owned by him and his wife, Jennifer Gates. Recently, Nassar added one more dazzling day for the stables at the Winter Equestrian Festival 2024.

Nayel Nassar wrapped up in the fourth position in the CSI5* Hermes 1.50m in the Winter Equestrian Festival 9 that was scheduled from March 6 to 10. An elated Evergate stable was quick to highlight that.

Nayel Nassar brings one more celebration to Evergate Stables

Evergate Stables, on Instagram, posted how well the Egyptian equestrian had performed with his under-25 class star winner horse, ESI Ali. While the 8-year-old ESI Ali was sold to Egyptian equestrian, Nayel Nassar last year only, it is hoped that their companionship will last long and decent enough to roar the equestrian industry worldwide.

When Esi Ali was sold to Nayel Nassar last year, Seamus Hughes Kennedy had told to The Irish Field lately, “Nayel Nassar is going to be competing ( with) him. He (ESI Ali) recently won the million-dollar Grand Prix at Spruce Meadows, he is gone to a good yard (Evergate Stables) and we wish him all the best with him.” And the good fortune is going on for the pair as they also secured a bronze a few days back in the CSI5* Hermes 1.50m at WEF.

Enthusiastic to take forward the game of riding, the Evergate Stables is ready to put up their show in the upcoming WEF 10, CSI4* USEF Premier “AA”, U25. Scheduled to be held between March 13 and March 17, hopes for gaining momentum in the stride exists. With all the success, Nayel Nassar now has his eyes on the larger goal.

Prepping for the final destination

While Nayel Nassar surmounts in the WEF 9, he also eyes the 2024 Paris Olympics. Preparing to compete individually for Egypt on the magnificent grounds of the Palace of Versailles in the Olympic season, he quoted that he started his (horse) riding journey at the Kuwait riding center when he was just 5 years old. One of the brightest moments in his career came during the 2020 Olympics.

In October 2019, Nayel and Lucifer V rode double clear in the CSIO Rabat Nations Cup. In this effort, they made Team Egypt qualify for the Olympic Games for the first time in 60 years. After that Nayel has shined on the international arena several times, being a part of the Evergate Stables. But the Olympics have been in his mind throughout.

Nayel Nassar, on being interviewed lately by the Olympics officials, explained the significance of being an Olympian always. He declared, “The Olympics has always been on the radar.” With this, it remains to be seen if Nayel can bring out the magic he did four years back in the Olympic arena.
