As the 2024 horse racing and equestrian seasons have already begun, Bruce Springsteen’s talented daughter, Jessica Springsteen, is already making waves.
Jessica’s love for equestrian sports started at the age of 5. In 2021, she played a pivotal role in the NetJets U.S. Jumping Team’s gold at CHIO Aachen and earned a team silver at the Tokyo Olympics. Jessica Springsteen brings the heat to the Winter Equestrian Festival

Jessica Springsteen, the elite showjumper, recently took to Instagram Stories, reposting a snippet shared via the Jessica Springsteen Fan Page. In the short clip, Jessica was seen atop her talented horse, Cayman de Poteau Z, at the 1.45 class of the Winter Equestrian Festival. The caption of the story read, “Amazing clear round for Cayman in the 1.45m JumpOff class today”.
In the jump-off round, she secured a double-clear in a time of 47.468 and ranked at number 8. This impressive performance at the Winter Festival is not the first time she has impressed the equestrian community with her immense skill at the thrilling events in Wellington.
Focused on improvement for the journey ahead
On January 18, the Winter Equestrian Festival started on January 3rd and spanned over 13 weeks of competition at Wellington International. Among these, 12 weeks will feature FEI classes. Four weeks will showcase the CSI5* competition, including the prestigious $500,000 Rolex Grand Prix CSI5* during Week Twelve. This prestigious event marks the beginning of the equestrian season for Jessica Springsteen. On January 18, Jessica showed off her show jumping prowess in the 1.45m class at the Class 806 – $10,000 Dodd Technologies 1.45m Open Jumper II2b (GP Qualifier) CALI @ 90+. Atop Tiny Dancer, she surged through the course and navigated barriers with grace, creating an impression of soaring flight.

Unfortunately, Jessica Springsteen and Tiny Dancer had 8 faults in Round 1, and their Round 1 time was 68.432 seconds, which did not qualify for the jump-off round. However, her recent double-clear at the JumpOff in the same class underscores her focus on improvement and determination to rise to the top.
