The accident was so catastrophic that it left her with some permanent physical disabilities, and it took her years to recover from this fateful incident. But she never blamed her horse for the accident, and she has love and respect for her partner.
She is also looking to make a comeback, leaving behind what happened in the past. Following that, she has returned for training recently and is looking to hit the ground running super soon.

Amy, who has been riding horses since 2007, was left paralyzed when she sustained an accident in 2019. This horrific accident has left Amy paralyzed from the waist down. More than two years have passed since this accident, and Amy has decided to resume horseback riding. She reached New Castle County, and they were helping her with a unique therapy to regain her equestrian strengths. Talking about the incident, Amy stated, “It was totally a freak accident. I don’t know what happened, but I woke up and realized that I was paralyzed.”
Amy also said that she has no hard feelings for her horse, Elvis, and she was never angry with the horse. When she was recovering from her injury, Elvis took part in other events and was a part of a training. But he also injured one of his limbs while playing in a pasture. But the beautiful part of this story is that Amy has reunited with her horse, and he is helping her with the therapy.
