Man’s quest to transcend the realm of Earth has taken him to astronomical heights, literally. At one point in time, the moon was merely a faraway mirage in the sky. Now, mankind has left its mark on the celestial object. Colonizing Mars is also on the agenda, although that seems to be a while away. Though, Lance Armstrong might get a taste of living on the Red Planet way before we colonize. How, you ask?
Well, Lance Armstrong, probably the most controversial cyclist on this planet, is going to be part of a reality TV show that is basically going to be like an intergalactic version of Survivor. A bunch of celebrities, including Armstrong, are going to experience colonizing Mars, right here on Earth. Seems like Armstrong has found his newest adventure, and it’s going to be an exciting one.

The premise of the show is simple, yet gravitating: who will be able to colonize Mars out of all these participants? The format will be that each week the “Crew Members”, including Lance Armstrong, will compete against each other and perform various space-related tasks. At the end of the week, all the crew members will vote to eliminate one of their peers.
The one who stays till the end will be declared the colonizer of Mars. The series will be an unscripted one and will put all the stars into a simulated environment, which will work like the Red Planet. Consequently, all the stars will be required to wear space suits while they live on a simulated space station on the ‘Red Planet’, and together, they will plan their survival.
The show is going to launch on June 5, at 8:00 pm. The premise of the show is definitely an exhilarating one. Do you think Lance Armstrong could be the one to colonize Mars for the first time?
