It’s been 12 years since Lance Armstrong left his beloved arena of cycling. Following his retirement, the cyclist explored different ventures and invested in some elite companies like Uber. He even owns a coffee and bike shop in Austin, Texas, and runs a media business called WEDU. Nonetheless, apart from having a successful vocation, Big Tex is now off to another adventure. Stepping foot into the world of reality TV,  Le Boss is now all set to make his TV debut.

Armstrong astounded his fandom when he announced the news of his participation in the reality show called, ‘Star on Mars: From the Red Carpet to the Red Planet.’ Nevertheless, the cyclist once again has an intriguing confession to share with his fans.

Lance Armstrong’s Candid Confession from the Martian Base Camp

The 51-year-old recently took to his Instagram handle to share his experience from simulated Martian base camp. Expressing his competitive side, the cyclist asserted, “I don’t like losing”. He then gave away several tidbits about the competition and adeed, “Living in a confined space without the opportunity to venture outside will be tough”.

The 7x Tour de France winner then pulled off the curtains from various nooks and crannies of the show and stated how he is oblivious of the presence of his fellow contenders. “My biggest strength is my sleep. I can close my eyes and go to bed. My life is usually quite predictable and routine. However, I don’t know anybody in this unfamiliar environment, and I’m uncertain about what we will do.”

Though the competition sounds like a tough nut to crack, the cyclist through his confession gave his fans a hope that he is in for nothing but to win.

Armstrong’s Mars Journey Challenges on ‘Star on Mars’

Lance Armstrong, along with the other contestants, will receive daily orders from Shatner in Mission Control. Donning their protective “spacesuits,” they will venture out to conquer the unforgiving terrain of the Red Planet. Throughout their stay on the simulated Mars, Lance will reside in the base camp, which includes shared bedrooms, a base commander suite, a gym, and a biodome filled with fresh herbs and plants.

It indeed is one challenging yet intriguing reality show with a stimulated environment, a hoard full of contenders, and unprecedented tasks. Interestingly, with his confession, Armstrong seemed confident about the whole game and has girded up to win the show, don’t you agree?
