As Cyclists from various parts of the world are pushing their stamina and battling it out on the hilly terrains of Western Europe, every new day brings new excitement. As stage 5 of the race recently concluded, a new winner emerged out of the competitors. Adam Yates and Victor Lafay of Great Britain and France had won the stage 1 and 2 of the race respectively. After that, it was Philipsen’s dominance in the next two stages. Also, potentially dangerous competitors are defending champion Jonas Vingegaard, Tadej Pogacar, Wout Van Aert, etc. Armstrong believes that Hindley is very much part of that group now.
