“Been One Helluva Ride Babe!”: Recently Married Lance Armstrong Has a Special Valentine’s Day Message for His ‘Beautiful Lady’

As people celebrated Valentine’s Day, social media was flooded with pouring of love from everyone. Many celebrities and sports icons were seen wishing Valentine’s to their loved ones through their social media handles. While social media users were in the awe of many of these posts, an upload on Instagram by Lance Armstrong caught fans’ eyes.

The Fallen legendary cyclist posted a beautiful picture with his wife, Hansen Armstrong.

The former cyclist had a special message for her better half. “Happy Valentine’s Day to this beautiful lady,” he wrote. Anna Hansen Armstrong stood by his side in difficult times. Armstrong has always been vocal about the support he received from Hansen. 

Anna isn’t just a wife, but also her biggest supporter and critic. Her wife has set a true example of companionship. “Not just my wife but my best friend in the world. Been one helluva ride, babe!” he further added.

The power couple never shies off from openly expressing their love for each other. Their Instagram handle is the favorite destination for fans. Both tied the knot in August last year after fourteen years of a long relationship. The couple already had two children, a boy, and a girl while Armstrong had three children from the previous marriage. However, once the love birds met with a deadly accident.

In 2015, Armstrong and Anna met with an accident when they were heading back from a charity event. Anna couldn’t handle the car on an icy road as the speed was beyond her control. The car collided with two other vehicles parked in the corner. Fortunately, the power couple and other people involved in the accident were unharmed. 

Later, in a police interrogation, Anna revealed that she was driving the car as Armstrong was a little drunk after an event. While there are some sketchy things involved with the case, it was the understanding between the couple that saved their life.
