Caitlyn broke a world record and rose to fame when she won the gold medal in the decathlon at the 1976 Olympic Games. This became her greatest achievement. Revealing her hard work, she added, “I literally started training that night at midnight, running through the streets of Munich, Germany, training for the Games. I trained that day on through the 1976 Games, 6–8 hours a day, every day, 365 days a year.”

After this, she revealed that her annual income from selling insurance policies was $9,000. At the same time, her partner Chrystie worked with an airline to support her financially.

Her preparation and hard work paid off in the 1976 Olympics in Munich. In addition, she won the AAU championship in 1975 while breaking several other records. After putting a full stop to her sporting career, she used her popularity to spread awareness for gender equality in sports.

Jenner’s contribution to gender normalization 

Since her birth, she has struggled with her previous identity. Before being known as Caitlyn Jenner, she was known as William Bruce Jenner. It was a huge challenge for her when she competed in the Olympics and came out about her gender. Despite all the struggles, she made her identity bold and got married three times. She married Chrystie Crownover, Linda Thompson, and Kris Jenner.
