In a podcast, ‘We Can Do Hard Things with Glennon Doyle,‘ Sue and her partner, Megan Rapinoe, made an appearance. The basketball star’s decision to play another season in the WNBA was also brought up.
“Have you treated your body perfectly, forever?” was the question posed to Bird. “I didn’t do this forever, but I switched,” she replied. Adding on, Sue told that she changed her workout regimes and hired a personal trainer “roughly 6 years ago.”
This helped her not to decline in her career. Bird also said that as one gets older, they are just smarter and more experienced, so one can use that as long as their body’s there. “People talk about Father Time, I’m like I’m just trying to tie him.”
