In Busto Arsizio, Italy, the state is set for the grand tournament, which will be serving as the crucial second Olympic qualifier. There will be 602 boxers across 113 nations set to compete at the E-Work arena, promising fierce competition in the race to take up the only 49 quota places that are up for grabs.
Therefore, after their successful qualification for the Pan American Games at Santiago 2023, the USA’s formidable wrestling roster will be coming up in the boxing arena. The star-studded roster will be featuring five male boxers: Roscoe Hill (Spring, TX) in the 51kg category, Emilio Garcia (Laredo, TX) in the 63.5kg category, Omari Jones (Orlando, FL) in the 71kg category, Robby Rahim Gonzales (Las Vegas, NV) in the 80 kg category, and Jamar Talley (Camden, NJ) in the 92kg category.
Apart from this, three female wrestlers, Naomi Graham, Alyssa Mendoza, and Shera Mae Patricio, will also be joining the ranks. However, all eight athletes will not be showing up on the first day of the event.
